In a defensive struggle on Sunday, the Denver Broncos clinched a 13-11 victory over the struggling New York Jets. Signal-caller Bo Nix connected on a first-quarter scoring strike and kicker Wil Lutz kicked the game-winning decisive three-pointer to secure the hard-fought win.

Defensive Performance Wins Game

Even with recording nine sacks against Jets quarterback Justin Fields, the Broncos were behind 11-10 following giving up a safety in the third quarter. Remarkably, the Jets managed a mere 82 total net yards throughout the entire game.

Nix, who completed 19 of 30 attempts for 174 yards, engineered a decisive 12-play, 65-yard drive that ended with Lutz's short field goal with approximately five minutes left.

Despite their dismal offensive display, the Jets still had possession with a opportunity to drive for a potential winning score. However Fields was tackled on fourth down from the Denver 44 when head coach Aaron Glenn opted to attempt the conversion rather than calling on specialist Nick Folk for a difficult field-goal attempt.
